plant-based Indian street food

Chef Palak Patel is a classically trained chef known for her resume full of Food Network appearances, including winning Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay, a finalist on Food Network Star and guest judge on new show Money Hungry. Impassioned to open Dash & Chutney, a restaurant inspired by her upbringing, the first full-flavored, plant-based Indian street food concept has a vegan menu that leaves no flavor undiscovered. An exploration of traditional chaat stations like samosa chaat and sev papdi chaat (think: Indian nachos), vada pav, a popular potato slider sandwich with chutneys and Mumbai grilled cheese sandwiches with onions, tomatoes & a unique spice blend. Signature spices deliver bursts of market nostalgia with the goddess bowl – chef Palak’s version of pea falafel & chopped salad – and classic street snacks including charred corn and hanvo (a savory Indian muffin with lentils). Anticipate jarred chutneys & spice sachets to take home too.
